Itinerary -
Day 1:India - Zurich - Interlaken
Arrive zurich international airport. Transfer yourself to station located on the airport. Validate your swissrail pass and catch a train to interlaken. Arrive interlaken (3 hrs approx). Transfer yourself to hotel and check in and day at leisure. Today you can take cruise along the lake brienz or lake thun or visit the famous ballenberg open air museum showcasing more than 100 original buildings from all over switzerland. (absolutely free with your swiss pass). Overnight in interlaken.
Day 2:Interlaken (Jungfraujoch, Trumellbach Falls)
After morning breakfast, visit interlaken on the scenic golden pass train. Sit back and enjoy the scenery - the journey takes about 2 hours. Later take a train to lauterbrunnen where you can stop and take a post bus to see trummblebach glacier falls (entrance not included). Later take a cog wheel train upto the jungfraujoch - top of europe, the highest railway station in europe. Return to interlaken and overnight in interlaken.
Day 3:Interlaken - Geneva - Interlaken
After breakfast transfer yourself to station and do a day trip to geneva. Arrive geneva and opt for a guided city tour of geneva. Return back to interlaken and overnight. (b) or you may opt for a various adventure activities available in interlaken.
Day 4:Interlaken - Lucerne
Visit lucerne on the scenic golden pass & sit back to enjoy the scenery - the journey takes about 2 hours. Arrive lucerne and transfer on your own to you hotel. Explore lucerne visit the kappel brucke bridge and lion monument. Best way to explore the city is to opt for a 40 minute non stop train tour with audio guide. Go for visit to very famous transport museum of switzerland. Overnight in lucerne.
Day 5:Lucerne - Engelberg - Lucerne
After morning breakfast, take a train to engelberg (1 hr by rail). Small town in a valley surrounded by mountains. Start your fun filled day by taking three stages of cable cars to go up to mt, titlis 3020 meter above the sea level. Your mt. Titlis ticket also includes the ice flyer to take you upto the glacier park where you can enjoy snow activities on the top. Return back to lucerne by late afternoon. Evening go for lake lucerne cruise. (free with your swiss rail pass). Overnight in lucerne.
Day 6:Lucerne - Bern - Mt.Rigi - Lucerne
Mount rigi is known as 'queen of mountains' is very easy access from lucerne (free with swiss rail pass). Take 60 minute boat ride and 30 minute cogwheel train ride up to the summit where you can have a beautiful panoramic view of alps, looking out over 13 lakes across all central switzerland. Later afternoon take a trip to bern-the capital city (1 hr). Opt for a audio tours available from tourist office or railway station. Return back to lucerne and overnight in lucerne.
Day 7:Lucerne - Zurich
Today morning check out and depart for zurich. The train journey is about an hour from interlaken. Arrive and check into the hotel. Opt for a zurich trolly experience - a unique city tour in tram with audio guide goes on for 2 hrs. Later take a train to schaffahausen and post bus to rhine falls. Visit the largest falls in europe. Return back to zurich. If time permits you can opt for a cruise on limmat river. Overnight in zurich.
Day 8:Zurich - India
Early morning check out and transfer to zurich international airport to catch a flight back home with wonderful memories of your tour.
